New data vaccination data shows our communities are responding well to the COVID-19 vaccination program. The following data shows the percentage of people per postcode, aged 12 years and over, who have had their first and second doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (as at 1 October 2021).

A new dietetics service is available in Sea Lake for any members of the community needing support with their diet and understanding of how it can improve their health.

A reminder all of Victoria is classified as COVID-PEAK, which means there is a very high risk of COVID-19 transmission in the community. Under the COVID-Peak setting, visiting services are not allowed onsite at MTHCS, our allied health and community services are for essential health and wellbeing needs only, and visiting to aged care facilities is restricted to compassionate and end of life reasons only, for up to two people at a time from the same household. Families are asked to phone the facility to discuss their visiting requests.

Mallee Track Health and Community Service is ahead of new mandated Government vaccination requirements for public sector health facilities in Victoria.

We strongly encourage all visitors to our aged care facilities to be vaccinated against COVID-19. As the aged care provider, we reserve the right to put extra safety measures in place if you are not vaccinated, such as virtual visits etc. We must protect our residents and staff, so please respect this decision.
