Appointments

Rotating Locum GPs cover on short term and long term placements at the Mallee Track Medical Clinic Ouyen as well as a Practice Nurse available for appointments Mon - Thu 9 am to 5 pm. 

A standard appointment is 15 minutes, however longer appointments are available if required. Please ask if you require a longer appointment. A range of procedures are performed in the clinic including Chronic Disease Management, Vic Roads medicals and Centrelink medicals, ECG’s, spirometry, vaccinations, cryotherapy and minor surgery.

Fees and Billing

Fees are subject to length of appointment and Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS) changes. Fees can be advised on appointment. Private patients are charged on the day with medicare refunding immediately through medicare on-line. Health Care Card holders are charged a reduced gap fee and refunded on the same day. Pension Concession Card and DVA Gold Card holders are bulk billed. We may ask to see your Medicare card for identification purposes.

Urgent After Hours Calls

Urgent care and triage is provided by registered nurses at Ouyen 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Please phone ahead on (03) 5092 1111.
