As a residential aged care facility, MTHCS have several obligations under Pandemic Orders issued by the Minister for Health to help contain the spread of COVID-19 and keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

Please do not attend the health service if you are COVID positive for planned medical or allied health appointments. The safety of staff and our wider community is important.

Aged care restrictions

Restrictions change depending on current health advice. Please phone (03) 5092 1111 to check the current requirements. Online and outdoor visits are also options to support residents to stay connected to family and friends.

Testing

It is extremely important that anyone with even the mildest of symptoms gets tested for COVID-19.

Face masks

Face mask requirements are constantly changing, therefore please ask staff when receiving health care services. 

Vaccination

MTHCS medical clinics are supporting with vaccination roll out. Please contact the clinic for information about how to get a vaccination. Or go to coronavirus.vic.gov.au/vaccine for information on state run clinics and appointments at pharmacies supporting the vaccine roll out.
