What do we offer?

Meals on Wheels assists older residents in the community and those with disabilities to remain living independently for as long as possible.

Sometimes the service is received for a short time, such as after a hip replacement operation. In most cases though, meals are provided on an on-going basis for people, who for various reasons, are unable to prepare food for themselves.

What's on the menu?

Our delicious three course meals are prepared daily and delivered with a smile by our volunteers. Our meals cater for a wide range of dietary and support needs including tasty and nutritional diabetic and gluten free options. The meals are prepared fresh daily in the kitchens at MTHCS Ouyen and Sea Lake.  Our four weekly rotating menu is reviewed by dietitians.

The MTHCS kitchens in Ouyen and Sea Lake serve an average of 170 meals a day, seven days a week.
