What do we offer?

Meals on Wheels assists older residents in the community and those with disabilities to remain living independently for as long as possible.

Sometimes the service is received for a short time, such as after a hip replacement operation. In most cases though, meals are provided on an on-going basis for people, who for various reasons, are unable to prepare food for themselves.

What's on the menu?

Nine varieties of soup, fresh fruit every day and homemade cakes for supper are all part of the tasty and nutritional meals on the menu. The meals are prepared fresh daily in the kitchens at MTHCS Ouyen and Sea Lake.  Our four weekly rotating menu is reviewed by dietitians.

The MTHCS kitchens in Ouyen and Sea Lake serve an average of 170 meals a day, seven days a week.
