Mallee Track Health and Community Service staff are supporting people in the Patchewollock community as changes take place to home care and meal delivery. MTHCS is one of the new providers servicing the Commonwealth Home Support Programme clients in the Patchewollock district.

Staff and visitors to Mallee Track Health and Community Service aged and urgent care facilities are again required to wear a N95 mask, as local cases of COVID-19 increase. The measures have been put in place to help protect vulnerable members of the community and limit the impact on services.

Independent assessors have again backed the Mallee Track Health and Community Service, reapproving the organisation’s accreditation. Officials from HDAA recently spent a week visiting MTHCS to review its operations across the Mallee.

To help us do that our programs and activities are guided by the Montessori In Aged Care principles. Over the past year, staff have been busy completing training and preparing our residential facilities. We’re now at the next exciting stage of recruiting a Montessori Manager.

A golden visit to Sea Lake. All enjoyed cuddles with nurse Tamara’s Golden Retriever puppies on a recent visit to Sea Lake nursing home. Needless to say we all fell in love and even named one for ourselves “Bobby”.

Classic hits and memories. It was a delight to welcome In the Mood back to our Sea Lake hostel to entertain residents. Playing a mix of favourite tunes, the duo had the crowd tapping their toes and singing along throughout the show.
