Mallee Minors 'Cuppa and Chat' Session
Mallee Minors 'Cuppa and Chat' Session
Mallee Minors Ouyen hosted the first of MTHCS 'Cuppa & Chat' sessions to meet the community to discuss all things early years and healthcare with MTHCS CEO Dr Frances Peart and Director of Community Services Lyndal Munro.
“We were so pleased with the turnout and appreciate parents taking time out of their busy lives to join us. Many topics were canvassed, and it was great to hear universally how much MTHCS staff’s care of our little Mallee Minors is appreciated by their parents. Of course, there were issues to discuss but we hope our answers dispelled some queries and we intend to follow-up with an FAQ sheet and video training for the new XAP software to ensure the available technology is helping to support our early years services.” shared Munro.
Over the coming months Frances and senior managers will be holding 'Cuppa & Chat' community engagement sessions across all MTHCS sites to check in and find out what's important to locals and ensure the quality healthcare we deliver meets the evolving needs of our diverse and growing community.
“We invite all to participate in this extensive community consultation process. As members of this community, your experiences, concerns, and aspirations are invaluable. Your participation in this process will help shape healthcare programs, and services that directly impact you and your loved ones. One focal point of our endeavours is bringing care closer to home. This is an opportunity to have your voice heard and contribute to the direction of healthcare in the Mallee.” Dr Peart.
